Xavier Mercader is the Digital Communications Manager for MyWorkplaceHealth. He creates interesting and engaging video content to create awareness about mental health and safe workplace environments, and helps promote on social media. Xavier has extensive experience in creating video projects from start to finish. He is passionate about workplace health because he thinks all companies should implement a friendly healthy environment and take care of their employees, as that maximizes happiness and productivity at the workplace. Xavier is known for his transforming a piece of video into compelling stories that captivates the attention of the viewer.

Prior to joining MyWorkplaceHealth, Xavier began his videography career in Barcelona, Spain as a freelancer, and was involved in all parts of video production from start to finish. He moved to Vancouver BC in 2014 and started to work for several companies creating video content, focusing on social media. Xavier holds a Diploma in Film and TV Production.

When not video editing, you can find Xavier spending quality time with “his girls” (his beautiful daughter and wife), with friends or road cycling.
