Chris Farber is a securities lawyer and executive with almost 25 years of experience in a variety of industries including practice experience at a national firm, work as Commissioner of the British Columbia Securities Commission and work as corporate counsel at a number of TSX and TSXV listed companies. He holds a BA in Economics (U. of Victoria), an LLB (JD) (U. of Toronto), an MBA (Rotman) and a Certificate of Mining Studies from UBC’s Faculty of Mining Engineering. Mr. Farber has provided advice and counsel on a number of projects with Dr. Joti Samra, R.Psych & Associates and MyWorkplaceHealth and has acted, in capacity as legal counsel, for other healthcare and wellness providers migrating their services to online delivery. Mr. Farber has a keen interest in the development of online provision of healthcare service and education which he sees as the future of healthcare services and a method of delivering services to rural and small communities.
Mr. Farber is originally from Montreal but grew up in Northern British Columbia. He has a lifelong commitment to educational, environmental, community and other groups (through numerous volunteering and board positions) and strongly believes in the importance of providing and promoting workplace wellness for professional organizations like law and engineering firms.
